From time to time in every ones life it rains

Thunderous showers that seem to cause you pain

But I don't mind when they darken up my sky

Because you made me a rainbow up on high

And when I am down and my tears start to fall

I really do not mind that at all

For all I have to do is look up high

To you my beautiful rainbow in the sky

Some people talk of soul mates this is true

And my darling I guess I found one in you

You don't care that I'm scared, nervous or young

You hold me close and tell me, this is where you belong

My rainbow doesn't need rain all the while

Sometimes it comes just to make me smile

I thank God every day for my rainbow it's true

Because my darling, my rainbow, is YOU!
